The GUIdancer / Jubula training course introduces you to the architecture, concepts and workflows of the tool. Over three days, you will learn how to write, execute and analyze tests. There are a range of hands-on exercises to get to grips with different component types, various actions, and aspects of test automation such as synchronization.

Once the basics have been covered, the course program looks at best practices for naming conventions, dealing with errors (event handling), test design and including test automation in the development process.

This course can be directly followed by one or more days of consulting where our trainer helps you to start writing tests for your AUT (application under test).

Once you've decided on criteria for your test tool, it is important to find out quickly and efficiently whether the tools on your shortlist can meet your requirements. The best and most effective way of doing this is in a web session with one of our consultants. To begin, we show you a short interactive demonstration of GUIdancer or Jubula to give you a feeling for how the tool works. During the demonstration and afterwards, there is plenty of time for questions.

Once you've made the decision to use GUIdancer or Jubula, then you can follow up the live demonstration with a technical proof of concept or a training course.

A Technical Proof of Concept offers you the peace of mind you need to go ahead with your test automation. Our consultants are experienced in a variety of application types and can perform the necessary steps to get your AUT (application under test) up and running with GUIdancer or Jubula.

During the web session, we create a project in GUIdancer or Jubula and an AUT configuration to start your AUT. Once the AUT is started, we use the Object Mapping Mode to collect components from within the AUT. In this way, we can identify the components that can be tested out-of-the-box.

In cases where a component is not recognized by the Object Mapping Mode, we can advise on steps to make it testable. After the session, you are provided with a document summarizing the Technical Proof of Concept.
